Lysette Anthony

Lysette Anthony was born Lysette Chodzko on the 26th of September 1963 in London, England. She is one of the hottest English television, theater and film actresses. Her parents are both actors and this brought her to the world of acting. Aside from acting, she is also a very accomplished writer and a successful model.

At the age of 16, David Bailey had already named her the “Face of the Eighties” and by the age of 20, she was already a household name in the UK and in Europe.

Lysette was part of the success of the comedy hit The New Statesman. The West End production, where she played the role of Arabella Lucretia, was a sell-out. The production was staged at the Trafalgar Studios and directed by Josie Rouke and written by Rik Mayall.

She was also seen opposite Simon Callow, in the production of Present Laughter, by Noel Coward, playing the role of Joanna Lyppiatt; and in The West Yorkshire Playhouse production of Dead Funny by Terry Johnson, playing the role of Eleanor.

In 2006, Lysette was seen in television as guest star in Casualty and in Baggy Trousers. She also had a recurring role as Rachel Heath in the series The Bill. She also appeared in two-part movie made for television, The Hallow, as Veronica Cray, opposite David Suchet.
